How to clear Memory Usage in Sai2??

Does anyone know how to clear the "memory usage" on Paint Tool Sai 2 without having to reinstall?
i received my copy through a very nice follower and i don't want to lose it if i try reinstalling it.
its at 72% rn and whenever i do work it will often spike into the 80s and 90s and at times, has stopped working cause it hit 100%...

On the titlebar, what is the date labeled? SAI2 is still in beta and I have one of the latest versions available that might have fixed bugs you may be experiencing with the memory issue if you want it
and on Sais title bar it does say that its the 2017 copy so maybe i do just need to do an update of some kind
am i able to get the update from you without needing the purchase info for my copy? cause as i said, it was given to me by another user so i dont think i have that info anymore. :0c
