Hey folks! Bout time for an update, eh? hoo boy do i got a lot of stuff to say

So for one thing, I just want to apologize for the silence from me lately. I have been making art, working on comms, and doodling here and there, but I just haven't really felt like posting anything, streaming, announcing streams, or sharing my art. I am not sure why exactly, but I think it might just have to do with stress and self consciousness. Maybe self sabotage, or fear of success? I dunno. as I think i've already said, my life is in this strange transitional period of home ownership+renovations+bills+wedding plans+wanting to change jobs+other general adult stuff, and it's hard to decipher my feelings and manage everything. I don't really know what my recent fear/apathy about posting/sharing really is, where it comes from, and I think at the end of the day it probably doesn't matter: I'm sure it'll pass soon enough. I have a stockpile of art to post, and it's growing bigger! slowly

I briefly mentioned getting bit by a stray animal at work and needing rabies vaccines in one of my older journals, and i want to confirm I'm all alright now! I'm now immunized against rabies for at least 5-9 years, the bite is healed, the cat seems like she is healthy (if not a little bitchy) and I am hoping it will all be behind me now.

I also have been slowly working on gallery cleanup and backing up, which has proven to be a MUCH MUCH bigger task than previously envisioned. But, progress has been made, and will continue to be made.

In the [hopefully] near future, I would like to overhaul and update my commission practices, methods, and prices. I've been sort of waffling on the idea of raising prices for some time now, but now I'd like to say I will be CLOSING MY WAITING LIST, and sorting out details/finishing work for everyone who is currently on it as best as I can. Once that's been done, I am hoping to permanently adjust prices and overhaul some things. To be more specific: I'm thinking there'll be a general +$5-$10 raise on all options, with some finetuning for things like alts, custom designs, and refs. Discount policies may also be altered/change, depending on how it all goes. Overall, I would like my commission process to be much more streamlined, for both customers and myself. If that means overhauling and pruning some excess, using invoices, or even employing someone I trust to act as a manager of sorts, I would like to achieve that however I can! Further updates will be given as the current queue and waitlist are finished, and this process starts to happen.
