At 2:16p this afternoon (Saturday, May 25, 2019) my brother Karl called to tell me that his brother-in-law had found my father dead on his couch.

He had someone visiting him, but she thought he was just sleeping. That means he probably died peacefully in his sleep. He did have a pacemaker installed due to a slow heartbeat.

My dad was 86 and would've been 87 in November. And less than three weeks to Father's Day. |={

I last talked to him on Tuesday. I will be headed to Florida tomorrow morning and I have no idea of how long I'll be there.

This is one very sad lion.
