Though I do understand your concerns with shinies, FA has stated in the FAQ that this is approved by PayPal themselves. Considering that this came out of nowhere and FA isn't taking any cut of the profits, it seems unlikey that they're "just saying that".

However, I still understand why people are concerned considering the possibility that PayPal will force FA to lock this off to SFW artists only (or terminate shinies altogether) and also PayPal's history of being jackasses to NSFW content creators. It is likely though that FA and/or PayPal will make some sort of statement regarding the system, so it does make sense for artists to hold off on using this (at least NSFW artists). Until then, it would be wise to continue using a 3rd party donation system like Patreon.

I agree. I’m actually somewhat skeptical on the shutdown of PayPal accounts the. I haven’t seen any hard evidence yet( no screenshots, emails, etc) but at the same time I want too play it safe ya know? Im sure within the week there will be official statements given and an explanation of some sort. Because I for one love the idea of an on-site tip jar for NSFW and SFW work. But it has too not be a death trap XD.
