Excellent question, Mel. The problem is that the winners live all over the place, so what I plan to do is a video presentation congratulating the winners and share that.

I was thinking that if the award was announced at a convention (or winners) then this will raise the visibility of it to fandom. This is a typical process for most awards.

I have to thank you for running this award, and for doing so in a professional manner from the outset! This has brought to light some excellent people in the fandom deserving of recognition, and I look forward to seeing who else will be nominated in the coming years. :)

Thanks! I am not surprised the debut of the award was a bit rough going. I'm glad about the results and hope that future awards will increase the visibility of good furries in the fandom!
