OMG! I almost forgot that this month is the 25th anniversary! I will probably be watching my Laserdisc copy of The Lion King at some point this month.

I also still have my original VHS copy that my mom bought me when it first came out on video. I got the laserdisc from a friend a couple of years ago.

1. NEVER seeing the "remake."

2. I'd like to think my now husband and I celebrated early this year by having a Lion King themed wedding reception! Lion King fan art is what brought us together back in 2004.

Good times seeing The Lion King at my local theater. It was a double feature with Angels in the Outfield. Also saw the Broadway show at the Pantages Theater in 2001 with my family. It was a beautiful performance.
