Hi there I recently watched a Netflix show called The Order, season 1, and its a show about a conflict with and ancient clan of sorcerers versus another ancient clan, a brotherhood of werewolf knights called the Knights of Saint Christopher. (In case your curious, Saint Christopher was often depicted as an anthropomorphic dog being, which is probably where they got their inspiration.)

Set in modern times the werewolves are peacekeepers that can sense malevolent uses of magic and prevent those that would misuse it. The werewolves don't transmit the power through bit, but by possession through a skinned wolf hide. (Each hide representing various named werewolves like Midnight, Silverback, or Timber) The Wolf pelts bond like a symbiote with a certain individual by enveloping and growing around him or her that could be worthy champions to their cause.


They can also easily control their werewolf forms, but can run wild if they sense dark magic without the proper discipline. So the wild werewolves side is drawn to magic vigilantism instead of cursed bloodlust. They can easily transform back and forth on a dime, and I must say their werewolf designs are quite good. It a mixture of practical effects and cgi and it can be a bit hit or miss with that.

The series will be renewed for a second season, so what do you guys think?
