IRC Channel: #MNFurs (irc.furnet.org) Okay, so the Garage just really isn't that great of a place to meet. It's loud, the music sucks, it's crowded, and most of all not everyone can afford it.
So maybe, if enough people agree, we can all meet at this little place called Crystal Lake Beach. Like the Garage, this location is in Burnsville.
Unlike the Garage, it's serene, quiet, and open to anyone. You can bring food, grill, play frisbee (or any other lawn game), have a picnic, and even wear your suits.
It is in a residential area, (mine, actually :P) so no drugs/alcohol are permitted, neither are loud boomboxes/subwoofers that would disturb people.
It's not official yet. I just wanted to hear what you all think.

And I'm debating whether or not I should even go because it seems like everyone is AT LEAST 18.
Not that there's a minimum age or anything, but I think I'd be the only person still in high school.

Now I have another reason to go, but now I'll also freak out because I won't be able to decide if I'm too weird or not for other people, especially people I've never met.

People always judge me right away because I have pale skin and surgery scars, it's been like that for as long as I can remember, so I'm just not trusting of people.
I know it's stupid but I'm used to being treated like shit for being different.
Whatever, I'll deal with the misconceptions I have about meeting new people. So when is this thing happening?

But I had chronic pancreatitus and I think what they did was cut out part of my pancreas than reattach it into a y-shape.
Then I also have two other little scars from back then, where they had to drain the fluids out of my system into these little bag things.
It was painful and disgusting, let me tell you. XD
I've also had a few other hospital visits but nothing quite so drastic.
And they didn't put you on anesthetics?? D:
I meant the experience was painful.
My doctor said what I had had the equivalent amount of pain of childbirth, which, REALLY, creeps me out for whatever reason, but I'd have been in pain the entire time if they hadn't so, it was pretty much required.
Gah... surgery is horrible.
How old were you then?
...you haven't missed anything with us. We've had one meet at which no one showed up and another meet that got cancelled.
