print company + stream hype

Edit: Eh, you know what? Im not gonna stress so much on whether its anime or not. Im cool with most styles, as long as its sexy and with original characters. I guess ill just personally draw anime, since that is my particular interest. In the end, people would go to the website to get sexy pin-ups.
I'm working on making a small print company. The focus would be hot original anime babes in skimpy clothes, though there may be some collabs with twitter cosplayers and models. I don't expect to see much furry on that site (unless its drawn in an anime style), on the side, I could potentially sell a print with each commission.
If you are an artist that is interested in submitting art to sell on the site, i would offer 40% royalty on sales of your prints. The main site would be mostly human, anime. I am tempted to make a second site for furry art (it wouldn't require an anime style), but I probably wont do it unless I get enough skilled artists that want to submit art to it.
While I initially planned to get small professional printer, the Epson Surecolor p600, my research tells me that I should go for the Canon pro 1000. Yes, it costs more to buy it, but it costs the same as the cheaper printer using third party inks, costs less to maintain, and prints as large as 17"x22", and its dedicated blue and red colors make it easier to express a very wide gamut of colors.
I want to have enough money to do this the right way, so lets see if I can earn about 200USD a day for the next few days.
Order in stream or an offline commission as a note on FA!! Let me know what you want me to draw, furry, anime, cartoon. Adult, SFW, whatever. If its a doodle, please just tell me what you want in two sentences and provide refs. If its a sketch, let me know what you want in a paragraph or less if at all possible. For the love of god, don't write a wall of text. You control your budget, just let me know how long you want me to draw. Less time is sloppier, maybe even incomplete. Sketches usually have better linework. If you haven't seen me draw before, i draw WAY faster than you think. Dont expect specific poses or camera angles, if you want more than one small edit, i am charging extra.
Pricing
Its like 10 bucks for 15 min - usually enough time to doodle one simple character
35 for an hour - usually enough time to sketch one simple character
I plan to be available for in-stream commissions later today. I guess time-zones are all over the place, its 2pm at the moment of posting this journal, and i plan to stream at 7pm - 2am
Catch me on Picarto! May as well add me now, if you haven't before.

I'm curious to see how the pro 1000 works out, I've been using a p800 for over two years and have had pretty good luck with it. I'll tell you that all photo printers will require tweaking to get a print whose color is close to what you see on the screen, I usually do that by making test prints with small versions of the picture each with different settings till I can get the colors close. It's the nature of shifting from an RGB screen to CMYK print. I'm not sure if that would present on an CMYKBR printer like the Canon but I think it would still be to some degree mostly in relation to image brightness of the print.
oh! Do you sell prints also? Sure, I'd be happy to talk about my experience with the printer when I get it. Good idea on printing a small version to double check if the colors are accurate, cause holy crap the inks are expensive.

I work with someone that does, I mainly provide IT related services which occasionally extends to working my magic on the printers and other art related items. And they are, the p800 goes though vivid light magenta like no bodies business. Those are 58$ for 80ml usually from amazon or B&H, but I've done a couple last minute emergency runs up to the microcenter near Boston and those come out closer to 64$. I haven't used third party inks on the Epson yet, we're super paranoid about it in terms of long term print quality(some inks fade over time when exposed to UV light, some inks and papers will help with that). I have a set of third party inks for our..SG400 which is a dye sublimation printer that I haven't put in yet but plan on doing it for some product testing. The SG400 inks cost about 380$ to replace all four cartridges and if you don't use them for long enough they go bad. So yah figure out ways to check stuff on a range of photos, for the Epsons they have the most trouble with some purples and hot pinks and darker images may need to be boosted up more. Poke me more if you wanna ask more questions I'm always happy to talk about it.
