Extended Thoughts on: Bree Supinius/Jolene Lana

Hello! Coming atcha from the Land of Flu to give you my thoughts on the newest character.
It's nice to work with fur again. Err, wool again. I talked about sheep TF on my twitter, and I still think it's a very underutilized animal for transformation. That, combined with the odd trashy kink I've picked up recently, made Jolene really fun to write, even if it took longer than I thought. College is a bitch, y'all.
Before I wrote anything down for this character, I actually looked over the last time I did a country TF, with Janice. I'm glad I did, because I picked up the difference between a cowgirl (literal or no) and a hillbilly: class. Janice was simple, but she had dignity. Jolene... I don't think she can even spell the word. It also helped me with what I can improve on. I personally think Janice holds up after all this time, and I hope you think Bree will too!
Trivia:
- First, as always, name time. Brihonna is exactly how it appears: making fun of purposefully misspelled names that are '''unique'''. Supinius is similar, just a bunch of syllables that sound important but don’t mean anything. I THINK I got Lana from some Greek, but maybe not. And yeah, Jolene is named after one of Country’s greatest man-stealers.
- Speaking of Country, I'm surprised that I didn't get much Country recommendations when I asked for them on Twitter! Though I don't wanna sound conceited; it's probably because nobody saw the tweet, lol. As such, my music during writing was eclectic, from Death Grips to Old Kanye.
- Did everyone catch my SUPER SUBTLE foreshadowing on Bree’s college emblem? It’s totally subtle and not jarring at all.
- I was… kinda worried about my descriptions for the skin changes. I hope that didn’t come off problematic.
- Also, yes that was a Spınal Tap reference, sue me.
- Dolly Billeuve actually isn’t named after Dolly Parton, but Dolly the clone. I wonder if she’s doing okay… oh, she’s dead. Well, that’s a bummer.
- The ending was much different in the first draft, with Jolene leading a pandemic-like army of hilbillies. My commissioner wanted it changed, and I'm glad they did, because I think the current ending works a lot better, even if I was very drunk when I wrote it.
My question: Since Jolene drinks so much, what's your drink of choice? For me, mojitos for pleasure, manhattans for pain.
