It is... whether it's already made, or you make it yourself. Moreso when you're trying to make sure parts don't clip into themselves...

If I may ask... do you try to avoid it as much as possible, or conceal when it happens?

A little of both and some post render touching up. Usually by messing with the xyz axis and scales you can hide things but if in animation that will be post render.. Also camera angles to move the violating part out of scene.

Thankfully, this is a still, and scaling has compensated for a lot of it. Most of the stuff is determined by the envelopes of the armature.
