Anthrocon - Tips?

So, despite previously working RIGHT NEXT DOOR to AC in years past, I never got thee chance to go into said establishment.
Until This year.
That being said, I only get one day to do so. Soooo...does anyone have any advice or tips on when to go?
I have several artist friends I want to meet and I don't know if there are certain times for the Artist Alley or what not
Any tips or pointers greatly appreciated!

Will need a badge to get in there.
Saturday is usually the fursuit parade and (unless the route changed), there is a time where the parade goes through there. At that point it's not possible to go in or out until the parade passes.
