Storm chasing for 2019 done...back to business. :D
6 years ago
Alright so as the title says.....my 2019 storm chasing trip with my 2 friends is over.....well it ended on the 23rd technically but I stayed out there solo storm chasing till the 25th and got home the 26th. As I said in the page 5 I posted I literally should have known better I'd have almost 0 time to load up the page. Granted DA I know has the scheduling thing but I don't think FurAffinity has that and I like simultaneously loading the pages to both spots. :) We basically left the hotels between 11am-noon either CDT or MDT and literally didn't get back to the hotels till past 11pm most nights. Completely exhausted and mostly had no energy to stay up past 1-2am which is rare for me. :XD:
The trip was awesome and was a blast. We were far more prepared this time unlike last year but again no tornadoes. :| We got on the best storms in the Midwest each day from June 15th-22nd but even though we were on 3 cells that did produce tornadoes....bad luck and rain blocked our viewing after it formed....usually not more than 10 mins after that happened. We will be back out there June 2020 and I know May is the prime season, obviously....We are meteorology graduates....but unfortunately my 2 friends can't get May off so early/Mid June is the best we can do. June can be active with huge tornadoes...but this year it was just VERY below normal. We are due so next year I have a good feeling. Been since 2010 since we last got numerous tornadoes and before 2018 that was our last chase year. :) So if you guys want to see the storm video we got hit up my youtube channel
Anyway back to working on art and posting First Howl stuff with Amber. Kind of awesome you guys like my OC....some of you dig the ponytail design. Now I gotta shake off this rust I have cause even though I brought my tablet and stuff to work on stuff.....I almost has no energy at night or time to do anything. :O
