I'm about 20 miles out. We felt the rolling shakes for about 30 seconds and might be dealing with some damage to our pipes in the bathroom. I'll be keeping an eye on things today.

The biggest earthquake I've ever experience was like a 2, just big enough to know it happened.

No. Not even a mild shake. Even when we've had a couple small ones in my area,. I didn't feel them.

We're far away enough from the epicenter that there was only prolonged shaking and some slightly scary sounds coming from the pipes under the house. ^^' Thanks for checking!

Of course! I had my very first earthquake a few years back when I lived in Arizona, I had no idea that that was what it felt like, like weird, scary vertigo. I was in a library so i saw all the bookshelves threaten to domino while doing the wave XD

Oosh, definite sympathies. It's just plain stressful to deal with that sort of thing from Mother Nature, even if everything's ultimately fine. >_< I haven't experienced an earthquake, but I've had some close calls down here in hurricane country.

Not much, I live just north east of Sacramento and I am clumsy. When it happened I felt a little unsteady on my feet, and just chalked it up to clumsiness. I saw later on the news that there was a quake, and wondered if that was what I felt

We had similar experiences! ^^ At first I thought it was just me getting vertigo, then the bathroom door started swaying back and forth and I realized it wasn't just me.
