Helping science with unused CPU time?
Hello all
Just in case some of you are interesting by giving some of their unused/idle cpu time to humanitarian scientific research.
It doesn't slow down the computer as it only uses cpu when idle and if you need cpu power for something else the calculations stop, and resume only when CPU is unbusy again.
You can join (among other projects) like me the World community grid
I provide calculations for something like 11 years by now, and helped scientist teams on research about aids, malaria, cancer, water filters, solar panels, etc ...
You can join anytime, newcomers are always welcome!
That's all, if you want to join, congratulations! If not, no problem
Thank you for your attention, and have a nice day

Yes, superconputers are very expensive, there is many research projects who would need it but can't afford it, but thanks to volunteers they can still have their calculations/simulations done.

Ooooh, neat! I'm definitely looking into that.
