Sometimes you just gotta wait for something new to come along, whether it be a distraction or a goal. If you just go through life you'll new stuff in weird places. Don't have expectations and things will turn out better.
I sit down. I listen to music, and I breathe.
I listen to my pulse, and feel it slow. Will it slower.
You still your thoughts, and take in the world around you. And as you do, ask yourself- Without reservation, fear of failure, or innate capability...what is it you want to do? Be it pleasure, fun, or career oriented...do it.
From there, you will have a path. From there, you will be able to focus on one task, and when you are done, you can repeat the task to find what you desire next.
Or more accurately, throw myself into new situations.
