The other day, I received a message from my brigade captain that I thought I'd never see, as of the 27th of July, I'll be rostered back to frontline duties with my fire brigade and will have 2 months to prove that I am fit for the 2019-2020 bushfire season - if I want to take part in operational duties for it.

This has been a bloody long road to recovery but I'm happy that I'm near the end of the trail.
