I am such a dork....

I want cake.
The boolean tool (specifically, subtarct, which drills holes) in Probuilder is very finicky. Sometimes it causes Unity to crash, sometimes it doesn't work at all for no reason. It's also hard to set the materials on the inside of the holes.
So what do I do as a solution? I install the UDK-- Unreal Engine 3's level editor-- to make level meshes.
Well, I have to do a getting started tutorial and hope the .fbx export works really well with Unity.
I'm sure it will though. This is the Unreal engine we're talking about, not 3D game studio.
I just find it kind of funny that I'm using the Unreal engine to make geometry for its competitor, Unity. :P

I will probably use again :D
It groups the entire scene into one object though. Makes it easier to put the materials where they need to be, but it'll be a problem with my decal system I think :x
