Digital art and consistency

Hi there, people! I have been thinking for a while lately, and while digital art is fun to make and looks cleaner overall, experience taught me that cleaning the lineart with a mouse and a shaky hand becomes way too time-consuming, as you may have noticed with my latest artwork, it took around a month that process alone.
In the other hand, I had a lot of fun coloring scanned sketches, it may not look as good as inked art but it gets done much quicker, especially for larger pieces, and as a result it allows me to make art more consistently and more often. This said, it would most likely become one of my main art styles for the time being, until I get a tablet and learn how to use it to the point I dump clean digital sketches like a machinegun.
This doesn't mean I'll stop making clean lineart drawings, I feel the need to make some of my drawings top quality, the accomplishment of finishing those pieces feels great after all the hard work.
