The backyard water park!

With a squeal of delight, Zee-Zee slid down the big inflatable slide, and splashed gently into the paddling pool. He'd needed a tiny little bit of grown-up help to get up to the top, but then he'd slid all the way down all by himself, and not even been a tiny bit scared!
The pool was starting to fill up as more and more little cubs arrived - some had been excited enough to dive straight in without changing into their "swim trainers" like Zee-Zee, but he had been properly dressed for the water by his daddy before starting to play. And by the way, they were definitely trainers, not diapers - see, they've got Tigger on them, and who could possibly be a bigger boy than Tigger? Luckily, the little ones who hadn't started potty-training yet were all wearing different brands, so there wouldn't be any arguments from a clever little squirrel today!
Zee-Zee heard Timothy lamenting that the water had made his pull-up soggy and wobbly, and then noticed Melissa telling her daddy that she needed to use the potty - he came over to help her out of the pool and take her inside the house, and Zee-Zee thought to himself that maybe it was time to be a clever big squirrel like that, too. He maybe did need his potty, now he came to think of it...
But on the other hand, Mika the panda, a fun and friendly big boy who Zee-Zee looked up to as a hero, was climbing up the wall of the inflatable pool, and that was a golden opportunity for a big squirrel to show off his big-squirrel climbing skills to everybody! And there were Zee-Zee's friends Tacki and Snow, and he'd just thought of a clever game they could all play in the pool, making big giant waves by sliding back and forth! And they still wore diapers, so they would just keep on playing and not have to get out for a potty break... and Zee-Zee had already shown everyone how brave he was by going down the slide... and the grown-ups had already told him he was a good boy for being polite to Mrs Copper and promising to do anything lifeguard Maisy asked him to do...
Maybe, just maybe, Zee-Zee thought to himself, he might pretend he didn't need the potty after all. The swim diaper started to feel a little warmer, as he splashed happily towards his friends. ^.^

I love how you really get in the mindset and describe it well. Don't worry, Zee-Zee. You're still a big kid.
I really need to write more stories...
I really need to write stories, period. It's just hard to dedicate the time and focus on it.
