RE: Your auctions are too pricey, I can't afford your art.

Something something I don't set the price my auctions go to something something that's you guys.

Anyway, I basically just want to point out that my general prices have barely changed for the last 3 years, only rising about $50 max, if that. The fact that I haven't been able to take general commissions much this year comes down to me working on other projects and having a full queue. But that also means there have been LOADS of other opportunities for commissions, my queue doesn't come from thin air after all.

My patreon, as one example, offers telegram stickers and full detail wing it commissions every month, and there are slots available on both of those. Has been for months. With what you get they're actually cheaper than my general prices.

I also had a large number of people at my last con enquire about commissions but very very few actually followed through or paid on time. Again missing out on that opportunity is not on me.

Following that were pride commissions of which I took almost 20. None of those were priced over $80 per character (some as low as $40) and it's a ton of work for me. They were open for 24 hrs as well, so it wasn't a fleeting chance.

So just, before you complain that I'm expensive/never open for commissions/hard to commission etc etc etc... please acknowledge the opportunities that have and are slipping past.

EDIT: Just to add, the reason for this journal is that I'm human, and these comments get to me sometimes. I do have feelings and can't help reacting badly sometimes.
