Thinking of raising comm prices

Hey there everyone! Hope you’re all doing well! So, as of late, I was thinking of changing up my prices when it comes to commissions. Sooo, here’s what I was thinking:
My current prices: 100 words= $1.25 with a minimum of 2k words
What I was thinking of raising it to: 100 words= $1.50 with a minimum of 2k words
What’re your thoughts on this? Do you think that would be too high of an increase? Too low? Think it should stay the same? Have a price range you think might work better? Gimme your thoughts!

One thing I've seen with prices it to try and base em on minimum wage; so you could partially base it on how long it takes you. And don't forget, folks aren't just paying for the piece they're getting, they're also paying for all the experience before that. As your work quality goes up with practice and time, raising prices is perfectly fair.
