AC is busted....I'm dieing.

It was working yesterday... started to get warm Abit last night... And today we've been fighting it all day..
Went out and cleaned the unit (with it being 91F out) then came back in the house.. to find it's hotter (bc opening the doors...letting the only cool air we had, out...
So...were sitting here with the AC off... It being 87 in the house... My snakes are happy...but my hubby, my cat and I are dieing Abit... Been doing all I can to make sure Jake(my fur baby) is ok. But hubby and I are getting irritable....
I just want it 74F in my house.
