I have one currently ticking all the never again boxes right now. I won a YCH slot a while ago... interestingly, they're still taking commissions. Feels odd as it's been 4 months now.

Try to reach out to them. Perhaps publicly, where it would be harder to ignore.

Well. I'm keeping it private for now... beyond that point I'll be posting on their wall. Pretentious is the feeling I get from them.

I had one artist I got an adopt from never respond to me within six months and I only saw some real progress when I privately informed them that I was going to be requesting a refund through paypal. I still haven't received the entirety of my adopt, and the artist is still offering new ones/some YCH comms.

Some people are just... I don't even know why they would keep offering if they're not ready!

Once chance they get, then my trust is ded.

You are a customer. You are exchanging money for goods and or services therefore you are entitled to be able to raise concerns and ask questions about your product.
Even if artists do eventually provide work months down the line, they should at LEAST be keeping in regular contact with you to notify about your commission status.

If you're not comfy with where things are, PLEASE at least reach out to them if you haven't done so already.
Maybe ask when you can expect a WIP, or at least negotiate a date for one?

If you have already done this then yeah, I'd express your unhappiness with the service and request a refund. If things go sour then get an Artist_Beware submission done.

It really bothers me when artists who're happy to take money for work don't seem to take it seriously. =___=

I definitely want to know about the Artist_Beware submission. Mostly because, you know when you note people, you kind of expect a decent response, you know? Not some half baked thing that says "Yeah in a month or two".
That's poor service. They got once chance to impress me or it's refund time.
