Character Adopts Alrighty, soooooo my trip to cali was ok. I got to stay with my brother and i repaid him with my cooking... lol. He showed me his favorite place to go which was fun. The rest of that time i spent studying and training my dog, Taser, until It was time for my hour drive to my appointment.
Also, Does everyone in cali love ass? Because everyone was on mine on the road... >.> lol.
Anyway, Doc got xrays, mould castings, measurements and external pictures of my whole mouth. He triple checked everything because if he missed something I would've had to drive all the way back there, which would not have been fun... >.> that and i spent the last of my savings to get there and back with just enough for food in between.
So, the plan is to go BACK to my Orthdontist and get temporary braces. Just to see how my teeth will align. THEN I have to have ALL 4 PREMOLARS removed. Yup, thats right, gotta have ANOTHER teeth extraction. And this one is going to suck more because the premolars are rooted in.
Once that's done, I can have the jaw surgery. However not only am I getting my bottom jaw worked on, but Im also getting the top of my mouth worked on as well and WILL be wired shut for an extended period of time... Luckily this wont happen until next year because of the previous stuff i had mentioned. This is going to be a very long journey. However all of this will be worth it. I have waited so long to be able to have a normal mouth and everything is slowly falling into place.
Plus i have my school and working towards my dream job(s). I will still be drawing as much as i can whenever I can. In all honesty when I have my jaw wired shut i wont have much to do other than study and draw. maybe play a game or 2. lol.
I also wanted to mention to those of you who are feeling down about your job, school, etc. Listen, anything is possible, however you cant just sit and wait for things to happen, you do have to work for what you want. It takes consistency, self discipline, time, and most importantly patience. Things dont happen right away, and sometimes thats a good thing, but when things are FINALLY starting to progress, you're reward will be whatever you make of it. Like a dream job, or graduating school, or losing the extra weight or gaining the extra weight. All things are DEFINITELY possible. If my journey isn't enough to convince you, then try it for yourself and get your own results. :) Just remember that you don't have to face it alone. If someone doesn't like that you are self improving yourself/your life, then that means they don't accept the new you and their image of you is about to crumble. Those are toxic people, even if they are family... >.> (had that experience and it's the reason i deleted my FB) It's ok to cut out that toxicity.
With that, I hope that everyone's journies are well rewarded accordingly. I hope everyone can find this confidence and courage to take that leap to a brighter, healthier future. You do you!! You got this whole "life thing"!!

I am glad to hear that you feel better after your surgery and that it didnt take long(?) compaired to what my doc told me. He basically told me all the bad things that could happen. lol. which im not really complaining about since i dont like it when people sugarcoat things.
Did anyone recognize you once you were all healed up?
It was more my facial structure in the jaw line and nose that changed, but over all I still look like me. My face is just a tiny bit shorter in length now. It's a subtle but nice change!
Getting teeth removed along with the surgery will definitely contribute to the swelling sadly. I had my wisdom teeth removed at the same time and swelled up a lot more than I would have without that. And yeah it took a year, probably more, to get feeling fully back in my chin! Oh and you also get these weird scars on the inside of your gums between your gums and cheeks haha I still feel them with my tongue from time to time
