Overwhelming Amount of Thoughts

Sonic
Okay, for how much I defend Sonic Forces, how they handled that game, I'll admit, isn't the best. Had they let it cook for longer and just put more effort into it, it would be a fantastic game. Though I still stand by its story, it has great potential for what it is in its core.
...That said, THE IDW SONIC COMICS ARE FUCKING FANTASTIC. I'm finally catching up with them, and I've been super enticed through and through, the character interactions, the action, the cohesive storytelling, RRRGGGGH!! Sonic Forces wishes to be this tbh. It feels so...Sonic, it's true to the franchise, and its legacy, while introducing new characters that aren't out of place in the cast. The villains pose as actual threats, they plan shit ahead, both parties are at even odds. And h'oh my god, Whisper the Wolf and Dr. Starline are my new favorite characters!! <3 Granted, I have a pretty long list of favorites, but I just love these two's designs so much <3 <3 I can't say much without spoiling anything, so GO READ IT, GIVE SEGA AND IDW MONEY
Smash Ultimate/Hero
Having urges to play this game again, to practice and play by myself before I feel ready to play online, which...won't be for a while -w-; As for my thoughts on Hero that just came out, they're an...okay character?? All of their moves are fine, but the biggest thing that confuses me about them is the down special. What it basically does is that it displays a menu over the fighter icon, consisting of a list of randomized moves to perform(which costs PP that gradually regenerates over time). This confuses me because you'd have to navigate through that menu as Hero is left vulnerable, and you'd have to look at the moves given to you, and in my case, remember which move does what. And this takes too much concentration as is in the middle of already trying to concentrating on the battle. And good luck landing any hits before you've found your choice and the opponent dodges out of it with their big time window. Not to mention how OP some of Hero's moves are. Like, critical hits at random? Seems pretty broken there, chief.
Soul Planes, Mario, and Otherkin
This is gonna sound crazy, so bear with me.
So lately, I've been feeling big, deep moods, and it connects to my otherkinship. The world of Mario resonates with me strongly. It's so cozy and fun; it's a world I'd not only be comfortable living in with its own laws of physics(extra lives, form-altering power-ups, coin currency etc), it's a world I'd be at home at. So I've been talking with my friend whom I share spiritual thoughts with, she's helped me discover something called a "soul plane", which is basically an entire world in one's soul(or mind, but in that case it'd be a mind plane??) consisting of all the things pertaining to that person's deepest interests. So for me, my soul plane is a very colorful place. Gumi, my tubby unicorn, is the tour guide that shows people around the plane when they enter, if they're allowed to enter it. The most prominent set pieces are my castle with all of my OCs, and a Mario-themed country. My entire plane is actually a whole planed akin to Earth, but I have yet to discover the rest of it more deeply.
And on the subject of resonating feelings and spirituality, I've made it very apparent in various places that I'm otherkin. I'm not afraid to say it, and I shouldn't be afraid. But I have an interesting case where I have multiple kinships, and all of them were past lives I've lived. To name a few, there's my dragon sona, Catty from Undertale, Mz. Ruby from Sly Cooper, and my Sonic OC Leto. All characters I have connections with that are deeper to me than to just be considered crushes or the like. So I've been meditating on these feelings, and it's helped these feelings grow stronger ever since, and it makes me happy to discover these things about myself. I don't just like dragons, I am a dragon.
So yeah, I think that's all I got in me for now. Thank you for reading, it's always fun to write out my feelings like this in full for people to read. I wish to do it more often with all the things I get passionate about, or just things I have a lot to say on.
