Exactly! I think it’s because they’ve only watched the movie and haven’t ever read the books or seen the TV series, since in the movie you never see him in his normal human form :P
You’d think his shorts and shoes would be a clue that he’s actually young though, right?!

Well, it should've, though not really, and like you said, one can chalk it up to people not reading the book or seen the episode because both are about a couple decades old and they didn't really care about seeing either, though saw the movie because lots of people loved it and just wanted to draw something dirty, which is a shame, I like the books, and the show while corny and a bit dated, it's still creative enough to stand out
