You literally put money into the store and they fired you for it. That's ridiculous.

Goodwill has this rule that employees can't shop at their own store, they must give customers first priority. The circumstance was the manager was chasing customers away from the fursuit in question. So in an effort to sell it, she posted on social media and told us (me her girlfriend and my husband/her boyfriend) about it. It was given the entire day to be bought but the manager kept chasing off customers. So the hubby bought it not for her but so the store could actually sell it and the fursuit would get used instead of the manager throwing it away. The manager found out about this probably through all the pictures she took on social media and got her for shopping at her own store.

Extremely stupid circumstances indeed.

I worried about it the whole time when we hung out the other day.
I was really hoping they wouldn't catch on. I just hope a new job isn't too hard to come by.

It shouldn't be given the economy and good workers are becoming hard to come by, but at the same time one of the three of us has been out of a job for a good two years with constant applications, soooooo crossing my fingers and praying Crys's luck won't be as bad.

If she gets some interviews I'm sure she snag a job. She's got a lot of personality and she's fun to be around. Hopefully it'll be no problem after that. The hard part is getting an interview in the first place.
I believe with all my heart she'll get a new job soon.

Also please don't hesitate to sell any of the characters I left in that Toyhouse if you don't want them. I don't know any of their values but it's okay with me to sell them.

I won't miss them as much as I'd miss talking to you if your situation got as bad as mine. Honestly I keep forgetting they exist all together. They're yours to keep or get rid of.

That's terrible to hear...and all because of a furry-hating manager. To be honest, you're better off with another job anyway. Goodwill doesn't deserve you.
