*loud kobold noises over the communications devices!*
They declined my art for being "A photo of traditional art" I have no worthwhile scanner, I have one but it comes in all grainy and I cant get a good scan out of it. e.e

Also lots of snarky elitist assholes who don't art themselves but insist you suck because you don't render like Zaush.
Traditional artwork quality after digitizing is actually getting worse and worse as years go by, because more and more artists are too lazy to plug in their scanner but simply take photo with their phones. Even worse are things like google photoscan, which is actually somehow worse from regular phones camera app, but which many use because it advertises to be scanner without scanner! Traditional artwork digitized in 1997 will look far better from one in 2019, which is insanity. Technology is advancing, but at the same time we are losing the quality in the process. It's archival nightmare.
Also as many artists do not realize that their phones attach GPS location data of the place where photo was taken, there's pretty much weekly cases where artists reveal their real life location themselves by uploading photos from their phone. Please remember to scrub your EXIF data from photos before upload.
Sadly this guideline does mean that on top of cutting artists who are simply too lazy to plugin their scanner and possibly save them from doxxing themselves, it does also cut those artists without access to scanners. Luckily nowdays you can get printer-scanner which has build in wifi so you can just use them directly with mobile phone without computer and cost under $50 both US and EU on top of many options including public scanners and recycling center hunting, so even if the guideline will hurt someone, it's not like it's demanding impossible either. I have even offered to send money to artists if it's monetary issue because we are definitely not talking of that big investements for what's possibly hundreds if not thousands of uses in future and ensuring of proper handling of their work.
So hopefully you get your tech under control Charbold because I would definitely want to see your stuff on the site and I'm certain many others would as well.
I use the machines in my school for all my printing & scanning needs. Of course not everyone has access to such facilities, nor is willing to process furry porn in public.
