Honestly... So long as she KNOWS what is healthy, who cares? For example: I know eating those disgusting greens and avoiding pop and caffeine is good for me. I choose to drink loads of (diet) pop because it is my choice. I love pop and understand the consequences. I know I should eat vegitables and sometimes I try, but I really cant force them down. Half the time I end up throwing them up again. I try to get as much as I can through artificial means. =\

Your own choices matter little, so long as you are fully aware of the choices you make.

This is all true, and people should make responsible personal choices...the issue with the article is more of a societal one, in which we as a culture deride the overweight and see fatness as a moral failing rather than for what it is, a physical state of being that is brought about by a multitude of factors (not the least of them being the input vs. output of calories burned vs. calories taken in). What ticks me off is people such as the one in the article who see people like Jordin Sparks and see her as a bad role model because she's technically overweight (barely), or the loathing that is brought about because we're told societally that you HAVE to look a certain way in order to be attractive, and in the extreme, to be a good person.
