I don't know of any story writers, and there is nothing wrong with your current FA name (as far as I can tell anyway).

It's actually because of poorly implemented logic and not for any kind of prevention. Instead of an incremental ID they used the username as the primary key for the database. In simple terms, it's just FA being FA

No, no. Not "can". It leads already to massive issues with indexing, influencing performance. FA's code base is so outright bad, that it can't even be partly salvaged. Why do you think this page lacks basic features that most pages nowadays have? It has been discussed among people far more able than me and has been part of discussions between database engineers in the forums for a decade now.
