I am still sore at not being able to game with the local furries due to having a job and having to work evenings because no one wants to see the janitor cleaning up after them. I am tired of having no social life though. It's a very lonely existence. No one calls me. No one texts me unless they need something. I would like to be held just once, held and cuddled. I don't even get that. I have to beg for money for stuff I need instead.

I'm in that curious spot of being over-qualified for most things and under-qualified for all else. Hey, if I'm applying for a job it means I'm interested. If I show up for the interview, I am definitely interested. I get nervous and that shows, but I try. As for the local furries, no one wants to host a game on Saturday and I would rather play 5E for a while first to learn the mechanics before hosting a game. If I have to host, it's going to be 2E or D6 Star Wars. I doubt most people even know what THAC0 stands for or how to calculate it.

Yeah, I am sort of clueless to that too, but I will say there may be a decent amount of online communities. i have got into MTG: Arena and it is really fun just in general. But for as much as local furs would be nice, online can help a lot in that social need as well.

I'll admit someone in my family who routinely beat me with OP decks drove me away from MtG.

That's too bad, though MTG: Arena would be a very cheap way to get back into it. Yes you will have people who have competitive decks, but you kind of learn as you go.
