Thank you for being so different.

Today, one person reminded me of what I forgot to do. fallin-angels-ace
he wrote me:
"I'm also a commissioner of art, of my 'sona and as many others have, a fursona, this is sadly taken for granted. Yes, art is desirable. Everyone knows who painted the Mona Lisa. It's such a shame but generally, nobody cares who she was and even less people care who it was that commissioned the painting. (Yes, it was a commission.) I don't mean to grandstand here."
"We are the other half of the art that doesn't exist to and isn't seen by most viewers."
"Often, I see so much praise for great artists but very little in the way of anything aside from the obligatory thank you, -other than you get what you pay for and that's how much you're appreciated as a commissioner."
"It's great to recognize and reward the other peers in your craft but there's more to be thankful for. Sometimes it's too easy to overlook others and make them feel left out.
I'm sorry if I waste your time with this.
Sincerely,
fallin-angels-ace
Ace of Hearts"
and he is right. I want to share my opinion about his words now. because I forgot to remind you of yourself. and remind other artists who watch and read me to think about a couple of points. we often advertise cool artists to each other, and the names of those who are painted on our works, we often write very little, without paying attention. I'm sorry if I also hurt someone’s feelings. there are a lot of amazing people around me, but I was reminded that I should pay attention to those who don’t draw. for those who support us, for those who write stories or music, who invented their characters with a vivid story or character, those who made us popular. thanks to whose support we have a lot of attention in works. thanks to you. those whose characters were interesting and it was easy and pleasant for us to draw them and thanks to which other people later liked our drawings. for your intersting characters.
we often forget to once again remind others of yourself. about those who follow our art, who order or simply share their thoughts. all of this is part of a lot of support for many of us. for those. who needs it and is important.
we really pay little attention to those who make our work look interesting and diverse. we could do it all ourselves, no doubt. but we would be without money and probably have a longer way up to well-being. because you have more people around you. each of us is part of a large chain and even a little attention can sometimes lead to big actions. so, often, some small drafts become very popular. just thanks to you. thanks to sharing with your friend. and he shared with his friend. I often saw very well-drawn drawings, but they were not as popular as a small curved sketch at times. I think you do not have to agree with me. I just shared the thoughts of strangers and mine with you.
my words are just thoughts that it would be nice to respect each other. even if this person is not popular and just came to you to say something. he took his time for us to tell you this. in our life there is nothing more precious than time. and thanks to those who read my mind. Thank you for your time. for your attention. for your support and criticism.
each of us is very different. and this is amazing. Thank you guys for how different you are. bright or modest, sociable or introverted. all of you inspire each in your own way and support any of us as you know how. Thank you for that!!
take care of yourself

and thank you for taking the time to read all these thoughts in the same way. and thanks for sharing your thoughts as well
I've seen artists who treat their business and even customers sometimes like aasembly-line work and it honestly kind of hurt when i comissioned someone like that.
As little talk as possible, do what you're payed to do, no questions asked and then slap a link on the shout page or whatever when it's done, so they can work on the next piece
Like it's just some cheap product they have to send out asap.
Thankfully this only happened to me with 1 or 2 artists and i don't plan on comissioning (or recommending) those again.
And eveb though all artists (exept the others i talked about) were super nice and polite, only very few made me feel like they were really happy having worked with me or they liked the idea/the concept/the inspiration or whatever for the drawing, or that they showed interest/cared about the story that's behind the story to convey the emotions better.
I know, the reason often is TIME or too much EFFORT, but people who see, that the artist cares about some of these things, are willing to pay extra or recommend the artist to everyone they know (even if the friends dont give a f lol) and they are more than happy to work with these kind of artists again and again and again.
And it builds relations and sometimes friendships and a more caring and supportive "audience"
Thanks whoever read that :'D
Thank you two again, i hope more people get to read your words (or i hope they somehow come to that kind of realisation by themselfes)

I mean I always very much appreciate my commissioners, but this puts it all in a different perspective and makes me want to do just that much of a better job bringing their characters and ideas to life.
Thank you so much for sharing this, I think a gear just shifted in my head.
Thank you Orphen and every other artist, illustrator or writer (whom combined pack the greatest punch), that proves this fandom can live up to this challenge. You people are an inspiration to us all
Edit: Thank you for writing this you two. Its beautiful! I gave your friend a watch as well.
Well spoken, and a good reminder
