marketing. can't understand their decisons sometimes. like with model cars. for a while every new brand came up with mercedes 300SL gullwing, Ferrari Testarossa '84, and VW New Beetle. as if there weren't already a dime-a-dozen of those on the market... even today, some makes that used to be popular are still widely ignored by the model creators. while others you find in every portfolio.

same with figurines. there are almost always the same ones on the shelf. but never the ones YOU want. (like with that new series of Turtles figurines, one uglier than the next, except the anthro tiger guy. guess what never gets imported to germany? yyyep.)

Yeah, hah. A friend of mine suggested getting them both, then reselling Beatrix on her own. I'm tempted to do that.
