This is the second journal from an artist leaving eka today, is some sort of paedo art dump happening?

Also, I know the struggle, I try to block every single underage (and human pred) related tags, even obscure or weird ones, but something always slips, no matter how hard I try. I actually have to be careful in there because drawn child pornography is illegal in Italy since 2008 (thank god) and the filters are pretty powerful, some people clicked for error on that garbage and were fined.

Fun fact: if you complain about the amount of child porn to Eka, she will insult you and tell you to go to another site. Seems like everyone is following this advice

I've actually heard that he doesn't always ban people, sometimes she just bullies them until they leave on their own.

The other journal I read was specifically because she complained and was insulted, called a bigot, and told her to leave the site. She happily obliged.

Also, their former host wanted Eka to either remove all the child pron or they would wipe everything. They instead first made everything private then moved to a host that didn't care about child porn

I don't even get how people can support it. At least the underage stuff is a little (very little) more difficult to access.

Sort of, in my case there's a long history of buildup to it but in one of the large servers I'm in (Ollie's/Panda's) sparked the jump. This is all following the semi-recent stuff where Eka's Portal jumped online hosts, and basically hid all the drawn CP so they could make the move, and then unhid it as soon as the move was completed with a host that was fine with CP (also revealing that they had never deleted the CP in the first place). This is also following the fact that I've been bullied and harassed on that hellsite for years (I backed off once, then came back early this year for some friends) so my opinion of the place was already very low.

Anyways this all hit a head a couple days ago when Panda posted screenshots of them talking to Eka about a CP drawing of a kid being AV-ed by an arcanine I think? I'm the one guy that doesn't know my pokemon well (not that the details matter), but Eka basically shamed them (surprise surprise) and accused them of "morality policing", and some other shit. And I already had my suspicions of Eka's views on drawn CP and immediately jumped ship, and posted a journal why (cruder than Ollie's, but to the same point). And..basically got several pedos coming out of the woodworks to defend that shit at me. So I've been kinda incensed about the resulting fireworks and decided to call out that bullshit here too because I don't want anyone else thinking I support pedophilia or having someone slip by me.

God tho I wish my country had a similar system and would consider drawn stuff CP. There's SO MUCH of it everywhere and it's sickening, especially when people defend it. I am sorry tho that my country's bullshit on it makes it difficult for you though, misclicks are the worst especially if you get fined for an accident too :/

Eh, I pretty much only use the forums, so the filtering is not a problem for me.

Also, jikes for the bullying (which, if I know the site well, should be because of the male preds and furry preds), the fact that it happened is pretty bad, at least I hope they took some consequences for that

And yeah it was a mix of my male and monster boy stuff and one dude not liking my species tag so he got all his friends to come at me, leaving shit comments and fucking with the tags of my entire gallery so I had to fix them over and over. And it was Eka’s so they got away with it fully and made me agree to a list of their stupid demands in return for not harassing me anymore. It was a couple years back, but took place over the course of a year so it didn’t really help my opinion of the site. Should’ve never came back after it.

Furries and people that like male preds are pretty much an "insult without consequences zone", at least they are improving in this regard. A little.

At least the preds I like have far more stuff here, but there is the occasional extra art in there. Still, it's like 10 exclusive images, the majority are here

It was a little, mostly just because it coincided with a shitty year in my life. Not to play pity party tho because I got over it, and now it’s just another piece of a long list of qualms I have against that site.

And yeah it did get a little better on the male pred part. Not great but harassment declined, did have a decent following for m/m content. And yeah most stuff is crossposted here, or twitter, or even tumblr if it works with the chastity ban (they accept sfw vore). Gonna miss the few exclusive artists on there but as a whole best that I’ve checked out.

I'm disturbed to hear about that. I'm not sure how they would be able to "get away with" that. Repeatedly editing tags against an artist's will is something they could be disciplined for. But actually brazenly making demands to stop harassing you? That would not be tolerated at Eka's Portal.

The reason they “got away with it” is because I only knew the person that instigated it, I can’t tell without a doubt /who/ specifically was altering my tags because you can’t trace who makes the proposed additions/deletions and upvotes them. The ultimatum was also given to me via an anonymous “Messenger” account (if you wanna look them up, that is the name of the anon account) so while I suspected who had made the account and sent it, no way to prove it without a doubt. They also implied it was the handiwork of multiple people, using the communal “we”, so might’ve also been drafted at the hands of multiple people, or it was done to cover their tracks. At best, you could only slam one person, and that probably would’ve just incensed them more given how I was also told to unblock anyone that had given adverse comments on my gallery by Messenger. And at that point I just wanted it to be over with and not to be contacted anymore.

That is pretty low of them to behave in such a way. Its too bad I was not made aware of it, because I actually can trace who makes tag additions (to some extent, depending on the timing). I have done that in the past to help some someone who had this problem and track down who did it, then in response I added the feature to turn off other user's ability to suggest tags.

the thing that scares me is that i've thought Eka's Portal is was a quiet place but i wasn't aware about the presence of those mini dramas because seeing it as a adult site i've thought it might be better than Deviantart and Twitter, but i always forget that even adults acts like a crybaby and worse, even a best friend had to deal with cub porn stuff and drove him off from InkBunny

Oh it was extremely childish, and that is good to know. In hindsight I probably would’ve sought help but hindsight is 20/20, and at this point it’s kinda moot. But I’ve had a lot of interactions with immature users over there, that’s just the one that took the cake for me so I cite it most. And I did eventually find out about and used that feature so that people couldn’t alter my tags anymore.
