Minor Car Accident...

Yes. I was in an uber and was unfortunately involved in rear-end accident on the freeway. (we were rear-ended)
It was my first bad crash that was something more than a tap so i was pretty shaken up about it.
All is fine and good but i think i did get some whiplash from it cause my neck and head ache. I considered going to the ER for it but honestly, i didn't think it was that big of a problem to warrant a hefty bill.
So no ER for me, just home. Sucked cause i had work today and ended up having to call out because my family didn't want me to be at work if my head was actually worse than i thought.
I still have a headache and the back of my neck aches but im all together fine!
Not gonna do any work for the remainder of the week and just kinda chill. I'll still be replying to notes and everything though!

FA+

I got nerve damage from an insignificant source, and didn't think much of it until it got much worse. Almost healing for 1 year now lol.
Sometimes big health issues can come from small things. Just looking out for my fellow artists. Get well and rip ubers car and insurance lmao.
-I will pay the paypal invoice in the morning, been working all day on art today, smite me-
Today im feeling better but still have a little bit of soreness in my neck. I'm keeping it easy but i still gotta go to work ofc :\
i'll try and work slow and easy ;)
I still have tinges of panic and my partner was in a rollover so there's nothing I encourage more than taking it easy and not stressing work too much. ;v;/ and hopefully also find someone who's okay driving you places (gently) in the meantime until you're back at 100%
Still gonna keep it easy though, so no worries there! :)
If i start to feel worse i'll ofc go to the doctors
thank you for the concern though :)
I was in a similar situation and I felt like it was only minor pains until a day or two later when bruises from the seatbelt, and areas where I'd hit the door showed up. I also started feeling pain in my side and it turned out a rib had been fractured.
I don't know if you're in the states, but if you got the information of your uber driver, or if you can get their information from uber, the driver who rear-ended the car should be the one too cover medical bills, specifically their car insurance company should.
if anything gets worse i'll be sure to get it checked out though!
thank you for the concern though! ;v;)/
Definitely take it easy. My father was in an accident and all the issues from it came in about a day or two later.
Stay safe and I hope that you'll be well soon!
I appreciate the concern though :)
It is good to hear all you got away with was a sore neck and a headache though.
No more getting hurt! Friendo orders!
I'll get it checked out if it worsens though, no worries!
