monster hunter world iceborne!!

so for those of you that don't know, i'm a huge fan of the monster hunter series, and i play it religiously. well come september 6th (next week friday) i'll be getting the expansion iceborne for the ps4. so as a heads up, i'll be taking a full week off (september 6th-13th) from commissions. anyone interested in hunting with me, i'll have my psn listed below. i every once in a while play monster hunter generations ultimate as well, so i'll list my switch down below as well, along with my discord. thank you guys again, and happy hunting!

Did they say whether they were gonna add the Nargacuga with this expansion?

nargacuga was announced long ago. if you play the beta going on this weekend, it will randomly show up in the quest against the great jagras. you can fight and kill it, but good luck.

i actually enjoy fighting yian garuga. sure it's a pain in the ass, but as long as it's not deadeye, i'm happy.

at one point when got generations it was long time sense faceing him and was like " oh just purple kut ku" annnd then the roar and fire ball wizzing past me and my reaction" not a kut ku not a kut ku" dodgeing away from the crazy mode XD

What features/differences does MHGU have that makes it independently enjoyable from MHW? Honestly I tried to play GU after enjoying World a lot and I couldn't go back personally.

the thing about GU is that it's basically a compilation of the old era of monster hunter in terms of gameplay. it also has THE most content out of the entire series in terms of 90+ monsters, a new weapon class (palicos), multiple styles for each weapon (including arts for each), and the style/charm the game has visually. world has the quality of life changes, but GU has the content to keep you busy for years.

Gotcha, it's a sort of 'greatest hits' from pre-World MH. I can kinda get why it's not my taste then, I didn't get in on MH until 4U

Im rather enjoying monster hunter world over the 3ds version of monster hunter. The addition of the scoutflies and easier to discern visual clues on monster fatigue makes it easier to capture marks. I spend most of the time capturing monsters as oppsoed to slaying them, though slaying does give some needed materials that require carving.

Indeed. I learned early though, bot to activate cactaurs after battling a monster for over 10minutes. Cactaurs will kill your prey. Lost a rathian and a barroth to cactaur needles
