I played Bloodstained...
I finally got new PC, and can to play in Bloodstained Ritual of the night. Here is my verdict - this is the best metroidvania that I played, after Dust An elysian tail. And as the developer of this game, he promised that he would collect all the best of all the Castlevania series, and he did. For this, I love the Japanese, as they make the best games. I do not want to spoil the plot, since it is also good (although the plot takes place in only one castle). But the basic printers I can tell.
I'll start with the pros.
1. Graphics and requirements. The game is not very demanding and promises optimization on weak PCs. But since I played at maximum settings, I am pleased that the graphics are great. Yes, and FPS does not fall, although it happened in some places.
2. The atmosphere. Here you are not Castlevania, where "God will protect us" And everywhere the holy forces. In this game, everything is connected on alchemy, and demons were also called up with the help of alchemy. But in fact, there is Gothic everywhere, although not. Each room and each location has its own character and soundtrack. Even the Japanese-style location is great.
3. Soundtrack There is probably one of the best soundtracks I've heard, because it was worked out by a person who was in Konami before. So it’s logical. I could make the top 10 best soundtracks from this game. Or go ahead, play Symphony of the night with the music of this game.
4. Design. As I said earlier, I like the design of the levels. But also, the characters themselves like it, especially the protagonist. Bosses are also top notch. Someone likes a 2-headed dragon from the towers (I forget his name), Bloodless (I prefer to call Bloody Mary). I personally like the boss Valefar. And it was he who was the inspiration of one of the 7 deadly sins.
And now for the cons.
1. There is no "New Game +". How to understand this? I thought that after passing I can go through the game again, with the same ammunition and chop all around with one blow. But no, only Boss Rush and "Complete the game once again for the minimum amount of time" are available here. It pisses me off. After all, all this was in other games, starting with Aria of sorrow.
2. There is no a second playable character. I dreamed of playing Zangetsu after completing the main game, but no. What is the point?! But I dreamed so. But you know how much I love Japan and the samurai.
But the developer will fix all these disadvantages by adding new free DLCs that are not known when they will be released.
One question remains, why does Curse of the moon exist? Maybe this is all in compensation for the fact that rotn had to be transferred, or is it just a "beta test" of the plot?
Well, this is the best game, that I played. And my assessment is... 9,5/10. And if there weren’t these minuses, the volume could have inserted 10/10.
I definitely recommended everyone to play it.
Thank you everyone who read my journal about this. Sayonara! And I love you everyone!
