Ever look back on your life and wonder how things would have played out had you taken some avenues you didn't, even though you know that taking those avenues would have been a disaster?

Take me for example.

When I was a kid, there were several activities available to me like Scouting, Little :League and Pop Warner Football. Kids normally like these things and are able to get into them either on their own or with a little nudging from their parents.

I on the other hand was such a spitfire and so much of a loner that those options were never considered, either by me or by my parents.

The thing is that years later I often wonder what my life would have been like had I taken advantage of those things, again even though I would have never fit in and would have been kicked out of them.

Am I the only one who thinks like this?
