if you put this in a google doc i could make comments, but i'm pretty proficient in 5e and have made plenty of custom classes, archetypes, and spells.

also reading a class table via furaffinity journal is really hard for my dyslexic ass but the idea of a Chaostra sounds interesting.

Glad to hear though you like the Chaostra heh, its kinda like an in-between class between the spellcasters and the fighter without being as....cheesy and cliche as a bard.

imma level with you that I cannot read the Chaostra if it's not reformated at least on a word doc and I don't really have time to take a whole-ass character class and reformat it for my own recreation. However, i'm going through your spells and a lot of the ideas are pretty solid.

also, any class with 6th level spells or higher should NOT get d10 hit die. paladin and ranger cap at 5th level spells for a reason b/c once you break past 5th your magic starts resembling being a minor god. if you're making a Gish class, look for spells that synergize well with weapons and give them spell progression like a paladin, or make the class resemble Path of the Blade Warlock.

I'll also point out that the reason WarChanter or whatever bard subclass that get's a few fighter class features still has 9th level spells and effectively a d10 hit die (1d8+1/lvl averages nearly the same as 1d10/lvl) is because the bard gets very few spells that synergize with being a weapon specialist: they're control casters and having to choose to spend your only concentration spell on a self buff or an enemy control is a tactical decision for war bard. they also have next to no damage spells so their weapon can replace their low-die cantrips. War Bard covers the weakness of the bard class, while Lore Bard gives them more spells, simply building off the strengths it already has while leaving the weakness untouched.

a Chaostra's spell portfolio synergizes very well with weapon masters, so they should probably have paladin spell progression and simply have a list of bread and butter, utilitarian spells that help them do what they specialize in: fuck shit up with blade and spells at the same time.

Or, rather than spell and blade, spell and hammer or mace, ideally. I didn't want them to be TOO similar to the fighting bards after all, and I like the idea of them whacking something and causing it to explode
