Well, the name of one of my favourites is in the title of your journal: Friday the 13th.

The first four films, Jason Lives and the 2009 remake are probably my favourite in that series.

In terms of some other favourite horror films, there's the classic Universal Horror cycle, the original Psycho films (and the Bates Motel TV series), Halloween (mostly just the original and the 2018 film in my case), The Howling and also the Ringu trilogy (the 2002 American remake notwithstanding.)

The latter especially is one which pulls off that creeping, subtle horror exceptionally well, along with having some re-watch value, as many smaller details will be picked up on repeated viewings.

Did you ever see Noroi? I adore it!

I have not, no. but after looking it up, it looks intriguing. So I'm going to seek it out in the future.

One I forgot to mention as well was a South Korean horror film titled 'The Wailing'.
