My condolences, losing work is always painful. Hopefully, your artwork can Sustain you until youfind a less physically Strenuous Job.

H M, bills are rough all around for everyone I expect. Mayhaps a comic of Some sort Would bring in more customers?

I don't have the ability, nor the resources or interest to make a comic, I'm afraid.

*By interest, I mean no one has shown any interest in my characters, their lore, or any story ideas I have had over the years to warrant me wasting days of my time making something that'll predominantly be sfw that no one will find interesting.

I don't have the money to waste making comics, nor do I have the following to bother with it. I have tried gauging commission interest and never got responses really, so there's no honest point in it any longer. There's too much oversaturation and underpricing to make it even remotely partially worth it. I gave up being a commission artist a long time ago.

As it is, I generally have been trying to keep my social presence limited except for the four or five folks who have given a damn about me for any and all reasons, due to the fact that I, as an artist, am mediocre at best. And because of that, I have no energy to keep working for pennies on the dollar for hours at a time. It's a dead market for me.

That's fair and understandable. ButIfeel it's unfair to call yourself mediocre. Ifeel your artwork is lovely.

It's hard not to feel that way when I've struggled for literal years to get anything out there, to the point I burnt out and hate myself and my work and it probably shows.

I imagine it's an awful Suffocating feeling. But I am being honest When I Say that Ithink your Work is delightful.
