Where's the book you were working on?

I get asked this a lot. The answer should be apparent:
"MY HOUSE BURNED DOWN!"
Jeez.
I was halfway through a collection of forgotten folklore takes derived from original sources (I can now read Olde English as easily as newspaper print).
Two Haggis novels, halfway done. I'm happy to say that the one reads like a collaborative effort by Fletcher Pratt and Stephen King.
Something I've been tinkering with I call 'X-Cops'. Basically real life cops encountering the paranormal. I was working on a chapter about a house here in Las Vegas that spits blood at the occupants and gathering information about giant spiders.
BTW, if it's late at night, and you're strolling by a lake or creek or any body of water and you hear singing, run. Just run.
