2019 has been a..dull year

I have to admit, through all of this I haven't really succeeded in having much fun due to people not really being active and not taking interest in my ideas, but looking back, I've also noticed something.
People are deleting their characters left and right on F-list a lot.
SJAs and NPCs are in full swing, making news and arguments well-known all over the net.
People who don't have time for RP gradually lose interest in it.
People who make fun and good content on Youtube no longer does.
People are leaving fandoms.
Twitter is getting worse from what I've seen and heard.
DeviantArt is basically in the same state as FA.
I've also noticed some other things during 2019 that I'll eventually add to the list when I confirm them for myself.
The thing is, people these days are losing interest and fun, things are almost taking a turn for the worst now. Everything is becoming boring and dull.. Before 2019, I used to have a lot of fun with friends on here and on F-list, but now.. It's like all the fun is beginning to drain from everyone..
People don't have time for fun anymore, do they..? Whatever happened to the good old days? Is this really the destiny of everyone who evolved with time? Try just lose interest in the things they enjoy? It's just..no longer appealing to them?
