Question about gifts

Hello my friends!
Living here at the FA for a few years, I noticed how different our mentalities are. Most people here believe that any work should be paid. We in Russia all love freebies and do nothing for it (many do not even thank for free art. for example, and it's terrible).
How do you feel about being given something by an unfamiliar person? Will you be happy with everything, or will you be embarrassed and want to pay for it?

Not sure what I would do for a surprise gift. It definitely shouldn’t be required to pay for something I didn’t ask for, but if I like it I would probably still tip. Happy to support artists
I would definitely be happy and try to give something back if i can. Depends on the individual likings of the stranger and if i can work with it.
If not, then some doodles or anything else are always working. I just want to give something back. xD
I am friends with a lot of russians, but it is not only them that do this, but I love it regardless of whom.
because i feelt like i am pressured into gifting something back.
But i learned that people who gift things does not expect anything back, they just do it because they like to.
