So... yeah. Although I wasn't planning on breeding my axolotls until February at the earliest, Axel knocked the tank divider down one night last week and they bred before I could set it back up, and Obsidian began laying eggs on the 25th into the 26th. I guess there's no stopping horny axolotls! lmao

Obsidian laid around 200 eggs and I was able to sell pretty much all of them. I decided to keep about 20 myself to hatch and raise, so that means I will have axolotl babies for sale in the next 4-ish months! So far the eggs are developing rapidly already, and I'm both excited for and slightly dreading when they hatch (should be between 10 and 13 more days).
