Sorry, but your best hope at this point is another hung parliament and the government winds up doing nothing about it for the foreseeable future like now.
The hilarious thing is that if the UK moved ahead and went through Brexit right from the beginning, another referendum would've been held by now and you'd probably be talking about how great it is that the country will be going back into the EU after a brief moment of insanity.
Johnson wants a WTO/No Deal Brexit. So if the tories win a majority, that's the likely outcome. Labour will at least try for a not terrible deal, and in theory put it to a confirmatory vote. Allegedly.
Though I'm not hopeful.
The tragic thing is that this is all one last fuck-you-I-got-mine from a generation that's losing its political and cultural influence. The absurd thing is that polling and statistics say the UK public went pro remain back in spring/summer last year, and is on track to being 55-60% remain in a few years time. How any pro Brexit party expects to win reelection in that situation...
An interesting thing to watch for might be if the Brexit party takes votes away from the Conservative party. Even if they don't win a single seat, it's theoretically possible that this will negatively affect the Conservative party trying to win seats.

The same way we ended up with Trump, polling and statistics show what the pollsters want - not what the public is actually thinking. (and with attacks on those 'of the wrong thought', many are going to say the party line and only do their will when the party can't see what they're up to.)
Besides, if you want to kiss and make up with the EU, the EU may require/demand you go 'all in', as in no more pound you'll go euro - and of course abide by all the rules the EU is coming up with.
No matter what happens, good luck. (Deities know we've quite the mess on this side of the pond as well ...)
US polling wasn't that wrong actually. They were correct that the majority would vote against Trump. But all predictions come with a margin of error, which is why Trump was predicted a 15% chance of winning rather than a 0% chance. On the day he threaded that needle thatnks to a few thousand idi... voters in a few key states. Such numbers are unfortunately within the margin of error for national polling.
Seconf Referendum will be just a straight up/down vote, with no electoral college in the way. Though to get one we have to stop the Tories winning a majority in government. And our First Past The Post system is just as bad as your Electoral college in misrepresenting a minority opinion as a majority.
So fingers crossed.
Though on the bright side, I'm hearing goof things about your own leadership problem over there.
What they missed was even more would vote 'anything but Hillery' with just the games the press had admitted she had done/was mixed up with.
And if you know the reference, Trump is a rodeo clown - one that keeps the bull distracted - or press in this case. He tweets and the press run after it - ignoring everything else the government might be doing.
And what's running against him appears to be a joke from what I can see, so we may have another four years of his clowning around.
Good luck on your vote if you can get it, over here I'm just hoping it doesn't get any worse ...

Labour wins majority: Brexit moves ahead.

Just sayin'.

There's a old film trailer for 9 that I feel is appropiet here:
