So I'm not a wolf, fox, or bassarisk, but...a deer?

I am taking a brief break from saving Ryperna from the Darkness to bring you this message:
I'm sure we've all had that moment when we ask ourselves "What animal truly represents me best?" Oftentimes we turn to introspection or quizzes, thinking we'll find the answer from within or from some random dude on the internet, and come up with popular yet inaccurate results such as wolves, foxes, or even some rare species such as the bassarisk/ringtailed cat.
I have tried all these options, all these species, and none of them have fit. So instead of wasting my time on Google taking a plethora of quizzes with contradicting results and averaging them to come up with a ringtailed cat or trying to think of something that ends up becoming a mess, I finally turned to God and asked Him to grant me a vision of my true fursona. The answer was not what I was expecting: in the furry world, I would be a deer.
Mind you, this was a result I had gotten on one of the quizzes, but I had dismissed it as a one-off, a fluke. As it turns out, it is often the outliers that bear the most important, for it is only with a complete set of data points that we can get a clearer understanding of the true nature of things.
Update: Nope, totally a bassarisk as it turns out.
