SECRET SANTA! (Open) - A TF community Event <3

What is a "SECRET SANTA"?
Secret santa is an event where you draw or write for each other, and get something back in return!
Each participant will be assigned a "Santa" (who they will receive their gift from!), and a "Recipient" (who they will make a gift for!)
But the best part...? It's a secret match up! You won't know who your "Santa" is until the day you receive your gift!! It's a surprise! :D
TIMELINE:
• Applications Open: November 21st (today!)
• LAST DAY for applications: November 30th
• Santas assigned: December 4th
• Submission period: December 5th onward
• LAST DAY for gift submissions: December 23rd
• 'No-gift' recipients get assigned an elf: January 2nd
WHAT IS AN ELF? CAN I BE AN ELF?
• An elf is a kind soul who volunteers to make art or writing for someone who's santa was a no-show. If you choose to volunteer as an elf, you can still join the regular gift-exchange! You may just be assigned an extra recipient in early January. To volunteer as an elf, just reply to the "ELF SIGN-UP HERE" comment below!!
What happens if I don't receive a gift?
• If you don't receive a gift by the night of December 24th, please note TFSanta2019 with the subject "No Gift", and be patient! We will assign an elf to you! (And then we will go gently scold your Santa, uhuhu.)
What happens if I miss my deadline for my gift/can't finish it in time?
• Sadly, you will be banned from any future events of this kind :(
RULES/INFO:
- This event is open to BOTH artists and writers, but the two categories will be kept 100% separate.
- This event is open ALMOST ALL skill levels. You must have been drawing/writing for at least 6 months to join. <3
- Likewise, please do not join if you are NOT okay with receiving art from someone who might be of a lower skill level than you.
- You must have a Furaffinity (or deviantArt) gallery with at least three (3) submissions of your own work in it, for verification purposes.
- You must be committed to finishing your recipient's gift! If you are unsure about your availability, please do not join.
- NONE of the following topics can be requested OR drawn: Non-consensual sexual acts (rape), loli/shota/babyfur/underage stuff, bestiality (feral+non-feral intercourse), identity death, highly-specific OR hardcore OR niche TF fetishes (including inanimate), and fetishes not relating to transformation.

GUIDELINES/SUBMISSION RULES:
- Winter theme is not required! But up to you if you want to include it! <3
• ARTISTS •
- Traditional AND digital art is accepted. Sorry, no photo manips.
- 700 x 700 px is the recommended MINIMUM size for a gift!
- No uncoloured sketches. Anything else is fine!
• WRITERS •
- The recommended MINIMUM for any written gift is 1,000 words.
- Please check your writing for any grammar or spelling errors before submitting.

Yeahhh, originally I was going to allow for mixing, but it felt like it could complicate things too much in the preferences/matching phase D:>
We'll see how this year goes ^^ Maybe next year!

The artist category will presumably be filled to a majority of original characters, which don't translate to manips very well, or easily.
