So idk if all of you have heard about what happened with YouTube and with the COPPA, so for those who don't know, back in September 4th, 2019 of this year, YouTube and Google were fined with a hefty $170,000,000.00 in a settlement and now Youtube had now passed their failure and faults onto the content creators by throwing everyone under the bus, and by "Everyone" I mean, every single YouTuber that is on the Platform, and THAT includes Furry YouTubers in that process, I have heard and read the COPPA Law, and its outdated as hell, and for anyone who has a YouTube Channel, you go to your YouTube Studio, go to setting, Channel, Advanced Settings, and there you will a new feature that you need to do in order to figure what audience you are targeting, whether its "meant for Children" or "Not meant for children' if you pick "Meant for kids" Your channel will be buried, you will lose comments,Notification notices, likes, save to playlist, save to Watch later, recommendations Live streaming, and lLive Streaming Donations, basically that, your channel is dead at that point, and here some of the things that is said in the COPPA law that are just so unbelievably Vague, Go and look it up and read it for yourselves, because i worry for everyone on YouTube.
